I love all types of stitching, but needlepoint is my favourite. It's a wonderfully relaxing pastime and the end product is a beautiful, hardwearing, handmade fabric, versatile enough for many uses. Patterns are worked in counted half-cross, tent and plait stitch. The designs are NOT printed on the canvas which will be either 10 or 12 hpi depending on the pattern.
